Samuel Hinkle

Baritone Samuel Hinkle, native of Ft. Worth Texas, has performed numerous operatic roles in the United States and abroad.  Most recently he was heard in Yale Opera's productions of Le nozze di Figaro (Conte Almaviva, 2015), Rossini's Cenerentola (Dandini, 2014), and La Boheme (Schaunard, 2014).  

In the summer of 2013 he performed the roles of Papageno in Die Zauberflote and Pandolfe in Massenet's Cendrillon at the Siena Music Festival in Italy.  Also in the summer of 2013 he sang the role of the Traveller in Britten's Curlew River at Ballet Opera Pantomime in Montreal. While a student at Mannes College in New York City, Samuel performed the role of Junius in The Rape of Lucretia, as well as Masetto in Mozart's Don Giovanni.
