Sorae Kim, soprano

Soprano Sorae Kim, started to play the piano and violin at the age of seven. When she was eighteen years old, she decided to become a singer and went to the Chungang University (Cum Laude 2006 B.M.), South Korea. During her academic years, she performed with "the three musician’s festival", "Lieder Abend", and a concert with Uijeongbu Philharomnic Orchestra. After graduation, her professional activities have included operas "Le nozze di Figaro" (La Contessa), "La Traviata" (Violetta) with various productions. She worked with one of the most famous Korean opera companies "Kimjakyung Opera Production" and undertook the main roles from the operas such as "The old maid and the thief", "Phone". Besides her career as a vocalist, she led "Michuhol Youth Choir" as a music director and second violinist at Living Stone Orchestra as a principal. Currently she is a resident musician (soprano) at Incheon City Choir.
