Elisa Rodriguez Sadaba, cello

     Elisa has been studying music since childhood and has participated in numerous summer courses and master classes in Europe with teachers such as Tilmann Wick, Yvan Chiffoleau, Lluis Claret, Arto Noras, Asier Polo, Philippe Müller, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt and Gary Hoffman.  She has been a member of several orchestras playing Principal Cello and Cello soloist.  She has received awards and honors in conservatories where she was studying and competitions in which she has participated as soloist.  Currently, she is pursuing a Cello Certificate in Performance with a full scholarship at Yale School of Music with Professor Aldo Parisot.  Last year she won first prize in The Wagner Society of Madrid competition and she was invited to attend the Bayreuth Festival.
