A huge thank you to all who attended our Fall Concert! We are so glad you braved the elements following yesterday's storm to be with us. Thank you all for your support and contributions to this non-profit orchestra.
Special thanks to Eric Murray at Shoreline Piano (and his movers!) for the beautiful Kawai piano we were able to use for our concert today, featuring soloist William Healy.
Another shout-out to Karen Klugman who graciously offered her time and talent to come early and snap photos of the orchestra for our website and programs.
As always, we thank the Fair Haven School and their staff as well as the New Haven Board of Education for all of their help in making our concert rehearsals and performances a success.
Thank you to the Mayor's Community Arts Grant program and the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven, who have helped to fund our group through monetary grants.
Another thank you to Carol Jackson and Tyco Printing for our lovely programs and Christopher Mader for our postcard design.
And none of this could have happened without the leadership from our conductor, Yang Jiao and President, Jessica Sack as well as all the other board members and orchestra members who contribute in so many additional ways to the sustainability of our organization! |
